  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain healthy relationships with current and new church partners.
  • Regularly engage with candidates’ sending churches and partner churches within your assigned geographical region.
  • Maintain a Churches CRM in Active Campaign, keeping information on church partners up to date.
  • Strategize ways of creatively engaging churches in your region and generating new leads through church connections.
  • Travel to key churches within your region in order to connect with and visit pastors, mission leaders, and other key staff members.
  • Engage in speaking opportunities at various church gatherings and events as needed.
  • Maintain a personal budget, and monitor and track expenditures in compliance with the organization.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, quarterly Advancement Team meetings (remotely or in person), and other meetings as required.

  • Manage other projects as assigned.

  • Understanding of international job recruitment practices and placement a plus.

Skills

  • High awareness of the emotions of self and others as demonstrated through effective listening, attention to non-verbal cues, tact, patience, and courtesy, commonly referred to as EQ (Emotional Intelligence).

  • Personal networking passion that yields meaningful and transparent relationships.

  • Innovative in developing new ways to reach potential candidates.

  • Prioritizing objectives and measuring the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.

  • Goal-oriented and motivated to work towards team and individual goals set by the department weekly, quarterly, and annually.

  • Ability to encourage and coach qualified candidates through the application process.

  • Team-oriented to promote and encourage accountability, trust, and commitment to results.

  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.

  • Courageous creativity that builds on past success and imagines new markets, methods, and messages.

  • Able to provide spiritual and business direction to potential candidates.

  • Able to work independently, remain self-motivated and on task because of a strong work ethic.

  • Able to present compelling messages to small and large groups.

  • A passion for sending workers from all professions to the least-reached marketplaces.
